MINE :: DIWALI .. CELEBRATED !

Cant say a word .., when my mother responded to my question (how do you want to celebrate this diwali?) ".. are we going to celebrate the diwali with many people outthere .. devastated by the floods?" .. (ofcourse the conversation was in telugu!) ..

and i found a reason to not celebrate it the way it was .. as it is not ought to be so ., coz . it was celebrated not for the reason that people are happy today ., but coz people used to suffer from atrocities of the demon-king(?) and then as he was defeated, people celebrated !

what is the point in people celebrating( the same way it was years ago) ., do i find a point in repeating the same ?

i don't think so .. (yeah, i mean it)

this is to be celebrated (strictly in my own humble opinion ! ), at least for the reason that we have learnt some thing over the year .., and there by .. as a symbol of removing lil bit of darkness from our lives with the knowledge which we have acquired through out.

so, people .. celebrate ! each day
.. when you do a good thing, when others are helped ., when you learn something ., when children around you are sleeping sound after a nice meal and good play ., when parents/elders are satisfied ., when someone really loves you .., when you have gained faithful friends ..... and many more !! (small things matters, alot)
